Renlita Overhead Doors ® have been produced in 
Australia for over 45 years. In 2005, the product was
introduced to the US market and is now manufactured
in Bonham, TX.
Renlita produces overhead doors, bi-fold doors,
motorized, frameless bifold-doors, ballistic doors and
security grilles.
The Series 1000, 2000 & 3000 Overhead Doors utilize a
system of counterweights, which allow them to be
manufactured to enormous sizes. The individual models
are differentiated by the way in which the folding door
opens. All of the counterweighted overhead doors can
utilize laminated glass or a panel (1/4”) or up to 1”insulated
glass as well as almost any configuration of infill or applied panels.
The doors are available with manual or motorized operation.
Renlita also produces an all aluminum overhead folding door, called the Sovereign. This model also does not have any overhead tracks, but does not utilize counterweights. The maximum width is 14' and the maximum glass or panel thickness is 1/4".
Typical applications of Renlita Overhead Doors extend far beyond garage doors. They have also been used as entry doors, commercial doors and hangar doors.
The door utilizes a combined frame of steel and aluminum. Typically, the aluminum frame will be powder-coated and the steel painted to match. If the door is to have surface applied panels or be clad with another material, only the steel frame is necessary.
The ability of the doors to be customized, allows the architect great flexibility in designing the door to be a focal point or to camouflage it within a wall. Renlita’s clean and precise detailing, ability to produce extremely large units and its smooth operation and reliability consistently impress architects and their clients.
Renlita can motorize all of their overhead doors or they can be manually operated.
